As an environmentally conscious company CL have adopted green working practises to reduce waste volumes and increase recycling streams/target percentages for our clients.

We can reduce the usage of plastic waste sacks/liners by upto 40% in most working environments.

Our bio-remedial cleaning product range is chemical free and provides an innovative way to clean hard surfaces where there is a high footfall and areas are trafficked or clients have allergies to chemicals. This option is only available to larger sites where we have non-working supervision to manage the use.

Product containers are recycled where practical.

Management work in the smallest geographical areas possible, to reduce mileage and carbon emissions. Where possible operational management are local to the areas in which they work (also working from home) to reduce commuting.

Office based staff work flexi-time to provide a better working environment for staff and reduce commuting time and costs.

Cleaning products are biodegradable wherever possible. Cleaning products will contain no phosphates.

Paper, chemical and aerosol products are evaluated by our suppliers and ourselves to ensure they have the best environmental credentials as well as practical usage. Supplier environmental policies are evaluated and formulate a part of our procurement tendering process. Details of policies and examples are available upon request.
